CICERO WALKWAY

Exactly the same process was used in this beach walkway.

The high tide unfortunately got to my camera and destroyed the building process pictures.

There were two bird watching platforms built into this structure. The architect insisted on making the link between the platforms go up and down.

My famous quote at the time. “Why is it sponsored by VW?”

She was a stickler for keeping to the dimensions. The corridors are, in my opinion, too narrow.

Its difficult to manoeuvre if for example someone is pushing a bike or a pram and a person in a wheel chair is coming in the opposite direction.

She’s now designing dams in Zimbabwe.

Blimey.

In the background of the above picture you can see some ancient Holm Oaks (Quercus ilex).

This particular area on the north coast has it’s own adapted sub species. They are very resistant to salt water environments.

Also they could be planted along the coast to help eradicate the invasive species of Argentian Pampa Grass.

In the shade these plants can’t grow but nobody in the regional environmental agency has worked this out yet.

Non slip decking should really be used but there’s no arguing with some people.

This structure took two people six weeks to build from start to finish.
