Now we move on to the 2nd part of the complete process which proved to be a big challenge as the finishes required were very specific – traditional Cantabrian style.
All the soffit, fascia and eaves details were made from green oak sourced locally and prepared on site.
The build then proceeds through the tiling of the roof and the guttering fix followed by the window and exterior door fix.
After that comes the insulation fix in the ventilated cavities which are incorporated into the exterior finish in local reclaimed sandstone and rendered brick.
